This collection of memories was based on the original book written by Murray Young for the 25th Celebrations in 1999. It was adapted  & edited by Ken Thompson for web publication during 2003 and early 2004 in preparation for the 30th Celebrations in 2004. We hope you enjoy browsing through the pages.

1980 First use of control flags, punches & punch cards 1981 Running our first Badge Event at Bull Hut Creek.
1982 First EP Relays held at Bull Hut Creek arranged by SB. 1983  EPC on new Hidden Valley Map
1984 Saltbush Papers first published 1985  Juniors performed well at Australian Schools Champs 
1986 Jubilee Carnival: State Champs on Wilpena Creek Map. Murray Young made Life Member. 1987 SB has clean sweep at EP Relays
1988 Juniors win Australian Schools Championship 1989 O Shed finally ordered
1990 O Shed erected! 1991 Junior numbers up
1992 Adrian Watson made Life Member. 1993 Badge event at Corunna Gap
1994 Club purchased OCAD for mapping 1995 EPC at Wilpena Creek
1996 Junior Achievement Awards began 1997 SB in charge of car parking at Easter 3 Day in Broken Hill
1998 Mattum Badge Event. John Brockhurst made Life Member. 1999 25th Birthday Celebrations & Publication of 25 Years of Saltbush Memories by Murray Young.
2000 Record number of SB teams at EP Relays 2001 Ken Thompson & Alan Holland awarded Life Membership. Coaching weekend very successful
2002 SB wins EP Relays. SB organises car  parking at Australian Championships. 2003 Good numbers at very successful EP Championships at Hidden Valley.
