SA Southern Darts Orienteering Squad
The SA Southern Darts caters for young orienteers just entering orienteering (novices) until they move to high school or the year they turn 12.
Sometimes we train in two groups to allow for experience.
We hope that members will enjoy orienteering while learning the basics of the sport.
Gradually you will progress to more difficult courses as you become more experienced and confident
You will progress to the Junior Arrows when you are old enough.
The Southern Darts train about once a month.
In addition the Squad conducts Introduction to Orienteering days and camps at Very Easy, Easy and Moderate orienteering skill levels.
The events at which training will be conducted in the near future are detailed below and at others there may be a duty coach to assist Squad members.
